Green Spaces Staff Cuts

All Green Spaces staff, the people who are reponsible for our parks and woodlands, were told at the beginning of  August that 15 jobs will have to go from the department as part of the current economy drive.  We understand that they employ about 45 personnel so this represents a third of all staff.

We trust that the opportunity will be taken to review and cut the bureaucracy rather than the  front line staff who are already over worked.
