Infestation at Waters Edge Pub & Restaurant, Ruislip Lido

A visit to the Waters Edge on August 2nd revealed that it had been closed and teams of workman were busy removing the floor boards and fixing the drains.  The management, and all present, were tight lipped about the reason.

It is understood that a  rat infestation had been brought to light the previous week when a rat was spotted by a diner. 

The council’s Food Health & Safety team have confirmed that they had been called in and had seen evidence of the infestation.  They stressed that the closure had been a voluntary one and not one forced on the owners by the council.

The Waters Edge is a Crown Carvery belonging to Mitchells & Butlers plc
